Terms & Community Standards

Community Standards

CPTO.app is a peer network for senior executives navigating the product-engineering gap. Membership implies agreement with the following standards.

01

Confidentiality

What is shared in member conversations, roundtables, and sessions stays in that context. Do not share, publish, or attribute remarks made in private settings without explicit consent.

02

Peer respect

This is a community of senior practitioners, not a forum. Disagreement is expected and welcome — but it should be substantive. Personal attacks, dismissiveness, or condescension will result in removal.

03

No unsolicited promotion

Recommending vendors, tools, or services in response to a direct question is fine. Unsolicited pitches — to the group or to individual members — are not. This is strictly enforced.

04

Role eligibility

Membership is for executives with direct accountability over both product and engineering, or who hold one and meaningfully shape the other. Consultants, coaches, and vendors are not eligible for peer membership.

05

Accurate representation

Members are expected to accurately represent their role, organization, and experience. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal.

Terms of Use

Website use

CPTO.app is operated for informational and community purposes. Content on this site — including blog posts, frameworks, and resources — is provided for professional development. You may share or reference content with attribution. Reproduction for commercial purposes requires written permission.

Content accuracy

All editorial content represents the views of the authors and community, not professional advice. Frameworks and playbooks are distilled from practitioner experience. Apply judgment to your specific context — we are not liable for outcomes from applying anything published here.

Data and privacy

We collect only what is needed to operate the community: name, email, and role. We do not sell data to third parties. Member information shared in the application process is used solely for membership decisions and onboarding. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@cpto.app.

Membership

CPTO.app reserves the right to decline or revoke membership at its discretion. Membership is not transferable. Violation of community standards will result in removal without refund of any fees paid.

Changes

We may update these terms as the community evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active members. Continued participation after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
